We read about the misinformation that is plaguing the health centres and the dieticians about eating low fat and high carbohydrate foods – we learned that the exact opposite would be seriously beneficial to our lifestyles.
We learned that there is a mega industry (within the food industry) that would fast go out of business should more people learn and understand the truth of the danger of the low fat high carb paradigm, and we learned that the government seems to be happy keeping us sick! What do we intend doing about it is the million dollar question.
Frankly I have found it of very little use confronting medical doctors about this information. Most of them have undertaken very little training in nutrition. The bulk of their training has been undertaken in medical schools which are funded and run by pharmaceutical companies.
Your doctor will know more about antibiotics than probiotics. Will know more about prescription ointments and pills than colloidal silver products. They certainly would know more about Proton Pump Inhibitors than dietary interventions for reflux! You would be knocking your head against a solid brick wall (as I have done repeatedly) should you attempt to re-educate them.
My Doc is having apoplexy at thought of me eating a low carbohydrate and high fat diet to bring my blood sugars and insulin response into a nice quiet range. The Diabetics Handbook says quite clearly that I should be eating carbohydrates at every meal and snack:
• Include carbohydrate foods at each meal and snack (source)
Carbohydrate foods are the best source of energy for your body. Carbohydrate foods have a direct affect on your BGLs. (blood glucose levels)
They include breads and cereals, pasta, rice, starchy vegetables (potato, sweet potato and corn), fruit, legumes and some dairy products (milk, yoghurt and dairy desserts).
If I were to follow these guidelines my sugars would be out of control and I would have to be on medications and quite possibly insulin as well for the rest of my life. I watch my sugars very closely and can always tell when a meal I have eaten has sent my sugar level higher. I have no intention of feeding more sugars/carbs into my body as per their instructions!
On top of the eat more carbs nonsense, they also demand you consume all low fat products as well. SURE — they might be lower in saturated fats but they are higher in sugars, flavourings and or artificial chemical sweeteners.
Of course we have also learned during this series of rants – that low fat is bad! There is no proof that saturated fats are bad for the human body – quite the opposite in fact! This low fat garbage has done immense damage to people all around the world, while at the same time making enterprising manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies very wealthy indeed and enabling them to scream at us for being obese!
And don’t talk to me about doctor referred dieticians, who know nothing other than what they have been indoctrinated with by the government health agencies. These in turn have been educated by the pharmaceutical interests.
Metformin is their first line of treatment – diet and exercise only fit in as long at you take their medications and eat the carbohydrates as prescribed! It is a rare dietician who will think outside of the box – they would have to be independent of the system – and still they would risk having their credentials revoked and losing their job.
How can you create healthy cells in a bio-terrain of pollution? A body full of toxic wastes, heavy metals, and acidic chemicals is providing a receptive habitat for destructive microbes. When microbes take over, they create mutations inside your cells. Viruses, fungus, and bad microbes love toxic waste. They not only survive on it, they thrive on it!
Harmony and wellness need a pure, clean, healthy environment. Excess acidic wastes are the underlying cause of degenerative diseases … such as diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, neurological disorders, and cancer … in fact, all other diseases. (source)
I would add to this two other toxic -terrain makers that we do not want
in our bodies if we want to breed healthy cells.
Get rid of the sugar and the unnecessary carbohydrates, which as we learned in the last RANT send our need for insulin spiking and our fat deposits growing! Want to join or remain with the ranks of the great obese!
If you don’t then you have been warned well in advance that you run the risk of causing the cells that line your veins, arteries and capillaries to deteriorate – long before either you or your doctor discovers the damage. This could be permanent and possibly lead to blockages in and around your heart – or possibly gangrene in one of your lower extremities necessitating amputation. But look on the bright side it may not be that bad you may simply go blind or have a stroke!
Get rid of all processed foods from your kitchen cupboard and refrigerator. KAPUT – be gone you nasty things – there is no place for you in a healthy scheme of things. Which night/morning next week does the garbage get collected?
Food should be as nature intended, fresh, seasonal, clean and nutritious. It is not food when there is a list of chemical ingredients on the label. That is a laboratory dose of poison not intended for human consumption. Can you pronounce that ingredient? Do you really think your body needs antifreeze? AND STOP visiting the local take-a-way for a quick sandwich, meat pie, sausage roll or bucket of chicken and chips.
Even if you only do it when the grandkids are visiting that is too often.
Let me ask you this question. How often do you take a cyanide pill?
NEVER would be your answer because you know one dose would kill you. Yet you will eat a bucket load of fast food – knowing it will poison your cells – turn into toxic sludge – but only occasionally?
If that is your idea of eating healthy except every once in a while – then I would say to you that you do not want to get well, that you do not care about the condition of your cells and that you are looking forward to an unhealthy retirement with regular visits to your doctor for your prescription medications!
Let food be you medicine. Give your body only healthy foods, containing the right balance of vitamins and minerals from the healthy soil it has been grown/nurtured in, and slowly but surely you will begin to notice your energy levels increasing.
Maybe your hair and nails will begin to thicken up. Your arthritis/fibromyalgia will be noticeably less painful. Your reflux will lessen and (as mine has) disappear all together after 15 years of being on antacid prescription medications.
Your blood sugars will begin to lower – which means your insulin response is less. The cells lining your vascular system will begin to repair the damage done from the excess glucose. You will lose weight and feel more spritely!
Even the packet of morning breakfast oat cereal you believe to be healthy is ultra high in carbohydrates and that is BEFORE you add the blueberries and the honey and the yoghurt. For me that would be more than my entire days allowance (self imposed) of carbohydrates, and would spike my sugar seriously high. Just as a matter of interest take a look HERE and see this (sarcasm) “nutritious breakfast” currently being promoted on the TV. Notice the carbohydrate content…. it is exactly point five (0.5) of a gram less than I consume a day in carbohydrates. Guess I would starve then for the rest of the day!
What do I eat? Low Carb and higher saturated fats. If you wanted a diet recommendation I would steer you towards Zoe Harcombe. I believe she does allow a tiny amount of grain after a few weeks. I however even forgo that as it spikes my sugars.
You need to nourish your body so that it will heal one cell at a time. You did NOT get ill overnight, it took a long time of slowly building up the toxic sludge and damaging your cells…. IT WILL take time for this situation to improve, but improve it will. You will be a model for friends and family who will want ‘what you’ve got’ and you will be able to help them attain that level of health.
Don’t give up, don’t seek the quick fix – it does not work. Your doc may well prescribe a pill or potion for you, but it will only treat the symptom NOT the cause. Fix the underlying problem and all the symptoms will fix themselves.
Don’t neglect the Vitamin D3 – your cells “Energizer Bunny”.
The future belongs to the children whose parents have been able to protect them from the corrupt lies of corporate dietitians.

Obesity Is an Iatrogenic Disease Being overweight has affected a small proportion of the population for centuries but clinical obesity was rare until the 20th century. It remained at a fairly stable low level until about 1980. The COMA report of 1984 advised us to eat a diet based on breads, pasta, fruit and vegetables, and low in fat, since when the incidence of obesity has increased dramatically. By 1992 one in every ten people in Britain was overweight. It is now more than one in four among adults. They didn’t become fat in the past 30 years because they became gluttonous and lazy, but because they got bad advice to eat carbohydrates. That is why obesity is iatrogenic, from bad nutritional (medical) advice.
